Our Founder’s Journey

My name is Prateek, and the story behind Shepherd’s Rune is deeply personal. In June 2024, I completed my first half marathon, an experience that pushed me far beyond my comfort zone. By 2025, I conquered an alpine marathon with 1300 meters of elevation gain, and an ultramarathon—73.1 km with 3600 meters of elevation. These two years of relentless training and discipline not only built my endurance, but truly transformed my mindset and outlook on life. Each event taught me that the greatest rewards come not from crossing the finish line, but from the growth, grit, and responsibility developed along the way.
